I have Smith ancestors who lived near Harmonsburg & Meadville. Some were buried in the Evergreen Cemetery & through the ME Church. I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS OF AN ME CHURCH IN EXISTENCE FROM 1860 THROUGH THE EARLY 1900'S IN THIS AREA. WOULD THERE BE ANY RECORDS FROM THE CHURCH? My Smiths include William A. born 1820 (he died & is buried in Michigan), his first wife JANE OR FREDRICKA born abt 1820 died abt 1863 in PA, SARAH born 1841, Williams second wife who divorced him & married Ambrose Bennett & who died 9/3/1918 & should be buried in Evergreen Cemetery. There are children & grandchildren also. Anyone who thinks they have a connection please let me know. ELAINE LINKE
