It was published in 1997 and contains info on the Dutchess County, New York Pages 821-876 detail the Emigh family. It describes how the Emighs were Palatines, from Germany It was on the last page of this document i found this info: Peter Emigh married Eunice, dau. of Abel Pond at the Baptist Church in Pountney, VT, 1817. She died 1832. Peter Emigh m. Sarah dau. of Beriah Sincerboux. She prob. b. ca. 1810 at Union Vale . I understand there is a place perhaps in new yourk perhaps in Dutchess county calle Eighmyville. there is also a place calle Clove where Eighmy history exists...esp. a chimney with the name on it.
