I found a J.H. DeGarmo age 32 living in West Fallowfield, Crawford County, Pennsylvania during the 1850 Census along with his wife Mary and son Rundous (sp). J.H. his wife and son were born in Pennsylvania, and he was a Grocer. Living with them was Catherine Frankinfield 83 who was born in Germany. I assume this was Mary's mother, but can't be certain. Does anyone have information on this J.H. DeGarmo, or anything regarding the DeGarmo or Frankinfield family? I've been researching the DeGarmo family for 30 plus years and would like to hear from anyone having information about any member of this family. I'll gladly share information with you.
