Dear Kathy, I am not a Childs descendant, but my 2nd great grand-aunt, Sarah Ann Langdon, married Caleb Childs abt 1830. They had children: California, Robert, Milo, Clara, and Fred (range 1843-1866). I don't have all the details of the family, but Robert married Sarah Meade, and had children: Harriet, Sarah, and Roberta. Per my notes, California Childs (f) married Henry Childs (yes, same surname, though a different family). I would be hopeful that you'll find a direct descendant, but if not, (any you believe this is the same Childs family), I would welcome the album.
