I have an entry in a genealogy record from another descendant, that indicates a burial in "God's Acre at Hartstown" Does anyone on the list have knowledge of such a cemetery? And - if so, where a listing of the burials might be available? I did find a God's Acre at Titusville, but that seemed to be too far away to be logical. Lee Gentemann Salem, OR
There is a cemetery in Hartstown, known simply as "Hartstown Cemetery," so goodness knows where the "God's Acre" came from. Listing from the 1960's at Crawford Co. Historical Society, as I have used it there. If you give them the name, they may be able to check to see if he/she is on the list.
