Adina, I don't know if this will be helpful or not but there was a Jack Schwartzman who owned a grocery store on the corner of Arch St. and Grove St. in Meadville. I don't remember when it was opened or when it was closed but do know that for a time it must have been a fairly prosperous business. All of the families in the neighborhood traded there and folks who worked at Talon up the hill would stop, also employees from Spencer Hosp. too. There was a man named Bob who was a partner of his and for some reason want to say it was his brother-in-law. Can't remember his last name. When the super markets came to town they could not compete with the prices so went out of business. My Mom told me one of them moved to California but don't remember who. Hope this helps, Jean
