Jean, Thank you, This is indeed the Jack SWARTZMAN that I am inquiring about. I am his niece by marriage, the daughter-in-law of Bob Roberts. his partner. It is good to know someone on the list remembers Jack and Bob. Maybe they can remember things that will help my search now that they know who I am looking for . Both families moved to CA. The Roberts in 1951 and the Swartzmans' in 1954. The Roberts still live in CA and half of the Swartzmans in CA and half in AZ along with grandchildren and great grandchildren. I have done reasonably well with the ROBERTS family history, but no one seems to be able to find anything on the SCHWARTZMAN/SWARTZMAN family so I thought that I would give it a try and turned to this list. I hope that others can give some information. It was good to hear a little about the store as that is the way my father-in-law always referred to it.
