David, I lost track of the widow and 2 children of David Shontz who drowned in Conneaut Lake in 1828. If one of those children was a male and keep his surname he may be the source of all these Shontzs in Crawford Co we can not identify. This may include Annette Lynch's Friendly Shontz.
