The McMichael Cemetery is a family cemetery which is about 1/2 of a football field from the old McMichael farmhouse. My grandmother was an Adsit and are cousins to the McMichaels. She spent many a day at the farmhouse. In fact i may have some old pictures of the adists and mcmichaels. the farmhouse is still own by the mcmichael's family but their names are Agnews. Brian Agnew owns the farmhouse which was given to him by his mother who was a McMichael. There are also many McMichaels buried at the Adsit Cemetery. I'll look in my records for the names of your relatives to see what I can dig up for you. jan stevens
Jan: That would be wonderful. I have no pictures at all of them. My great uncle who is 94 had a few pictures, but his house burned down about 20 years ago, and all were lost. Matthew McMichael was my gr gr gr grandfather, Thomas Harvey, his son, my grgr grandfather, Oscar Randolph McMichael, his son, my great grandfather. I know that Thomas Harvey and Oscar R. are not buried in PA, but the McMichaels before them are. I am looking for info about the McMichaels, but also, Thomas Harvey McMichael's (1832-1911) wife, my great grandmother, Margaret Jane Ewing (1832-1913). I think they were married in Crawford County around 1855. I am wondering if any of her family is in any of the cemeteries. Thank you so much for your help!!!
