    3. Hi Bob- You've probably heard by now that the LDS website is http://familysearch.org. On the left hand menu you'll see "US 1880, British and Canadian 1881 Censuses " I' ve been using the 1880 census quite a lot, and I've found that the search function, being based on transcriptions, is sometimes unsuccessful. I finally found one family by searching on the wife's name instead of the husband - and sometimes the children's names are more successful. Also, you may not want to limit it to one particular state and county, since you could be wrong about that. After you find the person you're looking for, look at the right hand side of the screen and click on "household" to see the rest of the family and other data. You can also explore the neighborhood by clicking "previous household" and "next household." Enjoy!
