There were records kept at the county level between 1893 and 1905. Have you tried them for your ancestor? They are kept in the office of the Clerk of Courts at the Court House. Meadville obituary abstracts are available at the Crawford Co. Historical Society in Meadville. I do not know if there was a Conneaut Lake paper at that point. Obituary look-up > Hi listers -- I was wondering if anyone has ready access to newspaper obits in the Conneaut Lake are for the period of August 1899 to June 1900? I have several Watson families all mixed up together and can't find any information on my great-great grandfather, John Wesley Watson -- at this point, all I have is his name as the father of William R. Watson --His wife, Margaret Christine Watson, was listed as a widow on 1900 census -- when William was one month old, so I figure the death of John Wesley had to have ocurred between the above dates. I would be so greatful if someone could help me. Thank you!!! > Joyce > > > ==== PACRAWFO Mailing List ==== > ~~ The List GOLDEN RULE ~~ > Keep to genealogy, history, anything ancestor!
