The Crawford Journal was published, under slightly varying names, from 1848 to 1918. It was a weekly paper, and always published in Meadville, PA. There is a card file index to all marriage and death announcements appearing in it, located at the Crawford Co. Historical Society. There were also several other papers being published here at that time.
