Hi Sharie, Thanks for responding to my message, you wrote: >How far back do you have your Andrews? > >I have Andrews across the state border in Ashtabula Co., OH. Also my James >Graham of Crawford Co. m. Olive Filena Andrews, she of Ashtatabula Co. >...... Also the date of the Andrews/Graham marriage was 1852. I think there is only a very slim chance that your ANDREWS and mine are connected. My ggggrandparents, Richard Andrews and Susannah Kelly emigrated from Cork, Ireland in 1825 to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada with their five chidren. Two more children were born in Canada. Four children were girls and three boys, one of the boys died young. The family moved to Buffalo, New York in the 1830's where they all settled except for their son, my gggrandfather, Jeremiah ANDREWS 1810-1877 who became a doctor. He 1st married Deliah WELD and they had i. Wesley R. ANDREWS b. 1837 Warren Co., Pa; m. Rubie Annie ROBINSON ii. William Henry ANDREWS b. 1840 Warren Co., Pa. m. Rose Ann EDDY & m. Mary Adelaide FRY & Jeremiah married 2nd Sarah Clark JACKSON and had iii. Ellen ANDREWS b. 1853 Pa.; m. Luther S. LAKIN iv. Charles ANDREWS b. 1857 Jamestown, NY; Jennie HAZELTINE v. Della M. ANDREWS b. 1858 Pa; m. E.T. WHITE of Minnesota The only line that you could possibly be connected to is Jeremiah ANDREWS' brother William ANDREWS who lived in Buffalo. I don't know who he married but I do know he had a least one child by the name of William P. ANDREWS who was living at 114 Cleveland Ave., Buffalo in 1892. William P. may have had a son William H. ANDREWS who married Edna DICKERSON at her sister's, Mrs. Charles J. McIvaine, jr. of Mill Creek, Ardmore, Pa. in 1909. The William ANDREWS of Buffolo could have other children, I just don't know. Is there anybody who sees anything here of interest? - Edward Coates Sinker now living in Herefordshire, UK
