To add to the Consider family - Joseph G. was the son of Jean Gabriel Considere, originally from Servigney, Dept. of Doubs, France. Jean Gabriel arrived as a single man, from the port of Le Havre, France, to the port of New York, 3 June 1840, ship "Concordia." I think I have his birth somewhere in my records, if you are interested. Joseph G. married, apparently as a second marriage, Josephine Dupont, daughter of Del and Francoise Dupont. Josephine was born about 1853, in either PA or NY. Her parents had emigrated from France, about 1846/47. We are still trying to trace that family in France.
