    2. Darla Mader
    3. Dear List: Once again I am hoping there is someone new out there with some info. I am looking for the parents and siblings of Margaret Jane Ewing, born 5/15/1832 in PA, died 5/11/1913 in Lincoln, KS. She married Thomas Harvey McMichael son of Matthew McMichael and Mary McQueen, about 1855 in Crawford County, PA. He was born in 1832 in PA and died in 1911 in Lincoln County, KS. They had 6 children: Alvin Ewing McMichael b 1856 PA, Mary b about 1858, Matthew, b 1860 PA, John b 1863 PA, Oscar Randolph b 1866 PA, and Agnes b 1869 PA. I have not been able to find 18 year old Margaret in the 1850 census. Thomas is still living with his mother and step-father James Fitz Randolph in East Fallowfield at that time so I know they were not married until after 1850. She might have had a brother as there is a John Ewing, born in 1846 that lives with Margaret and Thomas Harvey McMichael listed in the 1860 census in East Fallowfield. Her death cert lists only her father as "Ewing" and says he was born in Ireland. It lists Margaret's mother as unknown. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! Darla

    3. List, Does anyone have any information on the children of Henry Sanders (Heinrich Sander)and Charlotte. They moved to Venango Township from Espol, Germany (Kingdom of Hannover)sometime between Oct 1848 and 1850. Both are burried in the Mitchell Cemetery in Cambridge Township. The Henry Sanders family first appears in the 1850 Venango Township Census and the household consited of the following people at that time: Henry, 46 Charlotte, 38 (2nd wife) Frederick, 21 Rachel, 19 Charlotte 16 Cena, 10 Henry, 8 Frederick was my great great granfather and he bought a farm in Drake's Mills in 1858 and raised his large family there. I know the family line from Frederick to me, but what I don't know is what happened to Frederick's brothers and sisters. Any clues/leads would be helpful--thanks in advance. 1. Re: [Crawf'rd] mid-decade censuses
    2. Annette Lynch
    3. Unlike some states, Penna. did not take mid-decade census tabulations. We do have the agricultural and manufacturing schedules for 1850-1880 available here in Meadville, and the 1890 veterans' census. Even the front page report of his death had many errors. But it was a learning experience. The Old forget, the Young don't know Sandy Roche Schroeder [email protected]
