    3. I am trying to find info (obit, or grave) of my grgrandfather John Culver (b: 1842). He lived with his wife Hellen (thats how its spelled in the census) and 7 children in North Shenango twp Crawford Co. in 1900. In 1930 he was living with my grandfather in Mercer Co., but I couldn't find him in Mercer Co. so I am assuming that his wife died and he then moved in with his son. When he passed they probably buried him with his wife. I'm guessing that's in Crawford Co. I don't know what year he died, but he was 87 in 1930 and living with his son. I am guessing he is the John Culver that was the son of William and Polly(Mary) Culver who also lived in Crawford Co. in 1880 (Pine twp). Their son John was also born in 1842, but I have 4 different locations for them in 4 different census, Mercer Co., Crawford Co. and Trumbull Co. (Vienna and Masury). I also have information that several members of the William Culver family are buried in a cemetery in Andover, Ashtabula Co. OH. Any help appreciated -Henry Culver __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Search - Find what youre looking for faster http://search.yahoo.com

    3. The Childs photo album has found a new home; however, I am scanning each and every page/photo as there seems to be quite an interest in this album! The Linesville Historical Society will have a copy and I will be glad to send copies to all who are interested. I do have the names of those who have already written to me and will happily pass along the photos! Since there are so many photos in the album I'll probably whip up a web page with the photos on it so you can all download happily! I will let you know what the web address is as soon as I get it done! Kathy Brubaker www.linesvillecemetery.org

    3. Dear Kathy, I am not a Childs descendant, but my 2nd great grand-aunt, Sarah Ann Langdon, married Caleb Childs abt 1830. They had children: California, Robert, Milo, Clara, and Fred (range 1843-1866). I don't have all the details of the family, but Robert married Sarah Meade, and had children: Harriet, Sarah, and Roberta. Per my notes, California Childs (f) married Henry Childs (yes, same surname, though a different family). I would be hopeful that you'll find a direct descendant, but if not, (any you believe this is the same Childs family), I would welcome the album.
