Greetings! I'm going to making a trip to Columbia county in the very near future to do some genealogical research. I'll be flying into Harrisburg and plan on visiting the state library and archives there. I'll then be driving to Bloomsburg to visit the courthouse, genealogical society, cemeteries, etc. I'm very much a 'newbie' to genealogical research and this will be my first such trip and my first trip to Pennsylvania. I'm looking for any guidance about anything from places to stay and eat at as well as the different repositories I'll be visiting.
