Hello, I am new to this list. My primary Drescher/Thrasher line is from Sullivan County, but while researching original church records in Dushore last week I found a notation that my g-g-grandfather, Adam Drescher, was born in Columbia County, not in Luzerne as previously thought. He was born to George and Catharine (Fox) Thrasher in 1815. By 1830, the family had moved to Cherry Township, Sullivan County. Does anyone have any information on the Drescher line from the early 19th Century in Columbia County? What is their connection, if any, with the Luzerne Drescher/Thrashers?
