I'm not researching these families, but Maragaret I. PENMAN married Thomas Vanderslice VAN NATTA. He was born 6 July 1828, the son of Peter VAN NATTA and Rosanna BIEDELMAN. Also, Valentine BIDDLEMAN had a sister Catherine who married Michael THORNTON. According to court papers for William Wallace PENMAN, grandson of Michael THORNTON and nephew of Margaret PENMAN, Valentine renounced guardianship and moved to Michigan about 1852. He was replaced by Thomas V. VAN NATTA. I don't know if there is a relationship between Catherine, Rosanna and Valentine.
