Hi List, I have recently found out that my ancestor John KERN migrated from Columbia County to Michigan in 1835. I know that he left one son behind but traveling with him were some/all of his five daughters. I have been able to identify two of daughters, Clarrisa KERN (MINTON) and Elizabeth KERN (WAGGONER), they show up in Michigan. Does anyone else have a family who followed this migration route? I know that these migrants usually travelled in groups. John KERN owned property in what is now Beaver Township, Columbia Cty. Alice
