List, while on the Mormon page ,familysearch.org , I found A file I wanted to look at A little closer . I downloaded it ,and presto, . my Family Tree Maker file {my personal file } was replaced with this file ,and when I clicked on the shortcut to "my " family file I got the unwanted file which replaced mine . I have gone into the file and deleted it but my shortcut no longer worked ..I had to create A new shortcut to my original file which stayed on file . {thank goodness} so when you are using Family Tree Maker you have to be careful what you download .. I have written to FTM and complained but I do not expect it to change . I don't think I did anything to cause this .. Howard Snyder Gordon Pa.
