I am trying to find any informations the Sitler surname. They are the descendants of the Baron von Sitler of Germany. I know many of his descendants settled in the Berks Co, region of PA. I am trying to find any lines that ended on th western portion of the state. My line, Charles and his son Elmer were born and/or lived in the Crawford, Erie, and Warren County area of PA. I was told that there were many in Philadelphia and Columbia counties in the 1870 Census. Does anyone know of any of these Sitlers moving to NorthWest PA?
