    2. I was at the library and found these Peifers in Columbia County, PA. Could there have been more children born to this family? Baptism at the Union Lutheran and Reform Church, Hemlock Township. The records start in 1803 and the church was disbanded in 1868. Johannes son of Willhelm and Magdalena Peifer born July 16, 1806. Baptized July 27, 1806. Sponsors: Johannes and Elizabeth Fishel. Wilhelm son of Wilhelm and Magdalena Piefer born April 27, 1807 and baptized Dec 27, 1807. Sponsors: Wilhelm and Catherine Boges. Mahoning Church, Columbia County PA. Mahoning Church is now known as St. James Church of Ridgeville PA. Three miles east of Danville, Montour County PA in what was Mahoning Township. These records were transcribed in 1963. Nicolaus son of Wilhelm and Magdalena Pfeifer born June 1, 1809 and baptized July 9, 1809. Sponsors: Nicolaus and Catherina Mauser. Jacob son of William Pfeifer and Magdalena baptized Feb 8, 1811. Sponsors: Valentine and Sophia Kranshaar. I found the following family in Ross County, OH in 1850 at the same time my GGGrandfather, Levi PIPER [b. about 1820 in Columbia County PA.] was there. PIPER Jacob, age 40 born PA Martha 23 born PA The age is about right for the Jacob listed above. I found a listing for FISHELS UNION CEMETERY, Mainville Columbia County, PA. The Reform Cemetery is on the lower side of the road across the street from Emmanuel Church of Christ. The land for the cemetery was deeded by: Henry FISHEL, Peter BAUMAN, John NEUSS and John PEIFFER. Chris??
