James McKee (1786-1863) and his wife, Harriet Scout (1790-1832), had 11 children: 1. Elizabeth married John Derr 2. Margaret married Jacob Welliver 3. Robert McKee (died young) 4. William Scout McKee married (a) Rosa Wagner and (b) Nancy Ellis 5. John married Mary Willits 6. Anthony Scout McKee married Mary Low 7. Nancy died as an infant. 8. James married Elizabeth Gortner 9. Mary Charlotte (unknown whether she married or died young) 10. Susan Ann married William Scout Pollock 11. Jackson Perry married Margaret Ellen Wilson With his second wife, Margaret Craig (1804-1866), he had six more children: 1. Sarah Jane (died unmarried) 2. Agnes married John Pollock 3. Ann (died unmarried) 4. Martha (died unmarried) 5. Florence (died unmarried) 6. Joseph (unknown) James came with his father, Robert, probably from Chester County around 1790 and settled near Exchange, then Northumberland County.
