William Ayres, Secretary is in the 1859 Philadelphia City Directory listing for 335 Walnut Street Office. I think a WEATHERLY may have also been involved in this, or a closely allied railway. He is the one who had the name of Black Creek, PA changed to Weatherly, PA by offering the town a clock (he was a master clockmaker, and it would not have been an ordinary clock).
