I just sent to the Clinton County Courthouse for a death certificate from 1901 & it was returned saying it had to be sent to New Castle as all records are there. Has there been a change? I thought before 1906 they were at the county level. I wonder how many folks are missing the little tidbits of info at the bottom of the Clinton Co Mail List.
