Could someone in the Lock Haven area please check with Ross Library and get the # of the microfilm which Justin speaks of below, and post it to this list. We too, have had the same problem with trying to get death info. from courthouse on deaths before 1906. The exact title of the film would be helpful too. Then we can do like Justin suggested and order it from local LDS. Dianne JKHouser84@aol.com wrote: Now, on to the Death Certificates. I know that they are in the Clinton County Courthouse, Officer of Register and Recorder, from 1893 to 1905. The Ross Library in Lock Haven also has the books on microfilm (which I believethey somehow got through the LDS). Thus, you could try the courthouse again, the Ross Library, or obtain the microfilms through your local LDS church. > > Hope this is of help. > > Justin > > ==== PACLINTO Mailing List ==== > Clinton County is the home of the PIPER CUB > > ============================== > FREE UNLIMITED Web space at RootsWeb! > Any subject: genealogy, computers, pets!
