    2. Hello list, I will give a brief rundown of my Hockenberry lineage, to my gg-grandmother: Reinhard Hachenberger (c1683-aft 1750) Peter Hockenberry (c1718-1811) m/1 Anna Catharina ____ (c1717-c1763) Henry Hockenberry (c1740-1815) m/1 _____ Casper Hockenberry (c1761-c1866) m. Mary Greenwood (1754-c1858) Nehemiah Hockenberry (c1793-aft 1832) m. Elizabeth Matthews (c1793-?) Simon Hockenberry (1822-1905) m.Catharine Werts (1823-1890) Harry Nehemiah Hockenberry (1860-1925) m. Lydia Ann Chapman (1862-1940) Catherine E. Hockenberry (1887-1969) m. Miller Franklin Shawley (1873-1956) Miller & Catherine were my 2nd-great-grandparents. To date, no one knows what the "E." stood for. I am very curious about where your Hockenberry lines connect to this. If they are Clinton County, the only way I know of is through Simon Franklin Hockenberry (1882-1968), brother of my great-great-grandmother. Several of his family went down to the Lock Haven area. I look forward to hearing from both of you as to where you connect.
