The file of 10,000(prob more) is a reference file of newspaper clippings of tradgedies, births, weddings, funerals, plus the extensive photo collection, is also referenced within the files. There are early orphans court and marriage applications on microfilm. As well as the Cl Co Census, neighboring counties census. There are many rolls of newspapers on microfilm. In the Pennsylvania room many local history books, dating to the 1800's, donated genealogies, (1 1/2 stacks of them) If anyone lives on the moon, the trip may be too expensive, but anywhere else, it is not a waste of money. BTW, Lock Haven is only a half hour drive from Williamsport, Lycoming County(Brown Library), and a little over a half hour to either Penn State Univ Library(Pattee), or the historical library in Bellefonte, Centre County.
