Struck by a Bridge and Killed. On Friday night last Samuel Allen, son of William C. Allen, of Lock Haven, a brakeman on the middle division of the Philadelphia and Erie railroad, was killed at the west creek bridge near Emporium. The particulars are not known, but it is supposed that while leaning from the car he was struck by the bridge and fell through the bridge to the creek below and was instantly killed. He had only been on duty on this division three weeks.
