DIED BOSSERT - On the 15th inst. of consumption, Miss Lillie E. Bossert, eldest daughter of Col. Henry M. Bossert, of Bald Eagle Township, aged 23 years. Her life it is true was short, but it was happy for such was her disposition that all who knew her, loved her, and in passing from earth to heaven, it was only leaving one band of loved ones to join another in glory, who lovingly met her to escort her to the presence of her Savior; for Lillie testified ere she left this world, that truly she had found Christ, and was going to that heavenly country where all is peace and joy eternal For heavenly love prepared her soul, And called her to the skies, Where years of long salvation roll And glory never dies.
