    2. Barb, I, personally, do not know of any Clinton Co. papers that early. In 1829 part of Clinton County was still Centre County, and the other part was still Lycoming. There are a few papers surviving from Centre County dating back to 1821, and the death notices have been abstracted and put in book form. I imagine Lycoming Co. has newspapers dating back this early, also. Those would be on file in the James V. Brown library in Williamsport. Ross Library in Lock Haven has all of the known Clinton County papers on microfilm. What name are you searching?
