That date is very early for a "Lock Haven" Newspaper. The Ross Library, in L.H., has a card index file of Obits, births, etc., from the local newspapers. But I really think 1829 is too early for those records. Clinton COunty was formed in 1839, and this is 10 years prior to that, so I would look into Lycoming County for something. I am not sure how far back deaths were registered on the county level in Lyco. Co. You could try the Lyco. Co Courthouse, master death books.(if they have them) I think State law mandated deaths be recorded about 1894.
