Hello Lee & Ron & Clinton Co. researchers, We just received the death cert. for Able (spelled this way on cert.) and to our sad dismay, it did not have his parents listed. But on the upside, it listed his birthplace as Bradford, PA. Now where his mother's maiden name was suppose to have been, it had his wife's name & maiden name (Elizabeth Meyeres & her birth place as Hyneer PA.) We know for certain this Abel was married to Elizabeth Mayers or Meyers (Mayers on her brother's death cert., Meyeres on this death cert.) There is also another discrepuncy: On the census of 1900, Clinton Co., Leidy twp., PA. it shows Able to have been born in Feb. of 1824. But on this death cert. it says that he was born March 28, 1825. place of death: Leidy, Clinton Co., PA. died Nov. 26, 1909 of Epthecal Cancer, buried at Tamarack, Clinton Co., PA. on Nov. 28, 1909. Undertaker: F. ___?_. Mears, Cross Forks, PA. Registrar A. G. Calhoun Nov. 27 1909.
