I am posting these census to Clinton Co. list, for anyone who does Summerson research, or has Summerson as an allied family. He also has a boarder who is George Sterling, so Mary must have died between 1880-1900. WI/PA/PA bartender ..................., Josephine (wife) Apr 1868 (32yr) 4children/3liv WI/NY/NY ....., This name was scratched out, but I found it on 1910....daugter: ......, Cecil L. Feb 1889 (11) female ......, Effie M. (dau) May 1893 (7yr) ......, Dorris M. (dau) Jul 1897 (2yr) Now William & his wife, Laura Josephine, either divorced between 1900 & 1910, or he died, as his spouse is married to William Yarton in 1910. 1910 pg. 138 ED#58 179/179 Yarton, William 33yrs marr.(2nd) 8yrs. Yarton, Laura J. 32yrs. (2nd marr) 6 children/ 5 living ........., Dorris M. 13 (dau.) (Wm. must have adopted this one) ........., Eugene 11 (son) ........., Myrtle 13 (dau.) ........., Ralph 16 (son) ........., Jessie 17 (daughter) ........., Etta M. 2 (dau.) ........., Ella M. (either 0/12 or 6/12, could not make it out. Daughter) Sterling, Cecil L. 21yr. (step daug.) Sterling, Effie M. 17yr. (step daug.) (Eugene, Myrtle, Ralph,& Jessie are William's by 1st marriage) pg. 140 227/243 Sterling, George F. 53yrs. marr. 26yrs. Sterling, Mary E. (wife) 44yr. 4 Children/4 living .........., Frank C. (son) 21 ......., Earl D. (son) 11 I went all through Plover twp. in 1920, and could not find any of these people. But George must have been the death that we saw of George Sterling in Portage Co. as he does not appear on 1910 census. .
