    3. Here it is folks! Thanks to Dee Zito's detective work, and my digging, here is a super find for the Summerson researchers. 1820 Lycoming Co. census, list only two sons of the original David Summerson & Ellen Simpson as having a daughter under the age of 10 yrs. One of which was Marmaduke, and his daughter was Lois, and she married Robert Bridgens Jr. The other son with a daughter under 10 was DAVID SUMMERSON JR. & Elizabeth Shaffer. 1820 Lycoming Co., Chapman: SUMMERSON, DAVID.....1male under 10, 1 male 16-26 .................................1 female under 10, 1 female 16-26 1830 Lycoming Co., Chapman (David has already been killed by falling tree in early 1840. I will try to go back down there tomorrow afternoon & check on 1900 WI. census. They were not listed in soundex of 1880, as they did not have children under 10 yrs. of age. Maybe Elizabeth left a will that mentions Mary, in the county that Lumber twp. was in after 1873. Elizabeth was alive on 15 Sep 1873, when the estate of Frederick Shaffer was settled, and she received one full child's share of the estate. I do not have her death date. Dianne Croak
