Cathy, That's what I'm trying to find out. I know Daniel and Nancy Black CARTER lived in Washington Twp., Lycomng Co. from at least 1840 on and very possibly earlier. Both are buried in Elimsport Cemetery I know KYLEs (Sarah Jane Cater and Samuel) lived in Milton, PA (Union Co.). Do you have any BLACK info? Barb

Barb, Wish I could help. The only connection I have to the Black line is my 3g-grandmother, Anna Black, wife of Paul Shade. I just haven't done anything on that line at all. When I do get around to that name, I'll be sure and post it to the list. I did check my various books for surnames KYLE, CARTER and BLACK. Nothing matches.
