Hi Listers - I am hoping someone may have some information for me regarding my grandfather & his parents. James Harrison Thomas was born 15 May 1877 supposedly in Renovo to parents John & Sarah or Marget (Dobbins) Thomas. We can find no record of him or his parents whatsoever until his marriage to my grandmother in May 1915 - Grants Pass, Josephine Co., Oregon. I've searched for years - can find absolutely nothing on his past life. I've checked the 1880 Clinton Co. census & found nothing there for me. If anyone has even a little tidbit that might help, I sure would appreciate it. Supposedly he was a devout Catholic, but I also checked with as many of the local archdiocese's I could and came back with zip.
