Hi group, I just wanted to say that in all of my research of Clinton Co., PA., I have NEVER seen one of my own ancestors........but my ancestors came to America very early on, many bought land from Wm. Penn. They seem to have been everywhere else in PA, and guess where many of them migrated to. You are right, if you guessed IL. So I am in agreement that Lou's invites were welcomed. I look in Clinton Co. the most, because my husband was one of the lucky ones that his ancestors came to Clinton Co. & didn't budge after that. ha But a few of his ancestors' siblings migrated off, and it was to IL. such as the Summerson & Stout, Lashbough to name a few.
