    3. George, Almost 3 years ago, I received a list of all the people interred in the Flemington Cemetery from the Secretary of the Borough, Charity Walizer. If you want to bounce names off me, I can look for them for you, or send a photocopy of the roster - 9 pages. Whichever you want. The Cemetery is no longer managed, the town has taken over. This list was compiled 30 Aug 1994 by a Pat and Bill Tyson. 3. George, Flemington Cemetery is still active, I cannot answer who is the owner/manager, but somewhere in my piles of papers I have a transcription of it. Not sure about the Church. Flemington borders Lock Havens 5th ward. It is the community between Lock Haven and Mill Hall. Also it once was listed as Allison Township. 1. Re: Flemington Cemetery
    2. George, The Disciple Church has an interesting history. Linn's History, p. 340, gives an exhaustive account of the origins of this denomination in Central PA. Nathan J. Mitchell organized the first Disciples of Christ congregation in Howard in 1832. He was married to a sister of Gov. William F. Packer. The Disciples had no creed, but "claimed the Bible alone as their guiding star." The first church was built at Eagleville in 1832. This was replaced by the present church at Blanchard, erected in 1869, at a cost of nearly $11,000. In Allison Twp., the Disciple Church met in the old Methodist Church edifice, which it purchased. Before buying this building it had occasional preaching in the school-house for 12 or 15 years. The pastor in 1882 was Rev. C. S. Long, also pastor of Lock Haven Disciple Church. This is from Linns, p. 567. Hope this helps. Justin

Thought some of you might like to compare the photo against some you have and see if he is a missing family member <g> I am not the seller of the photo, nor do I have any interest in it, but thought someone might recognize the young boy. Good luck and happy searching! 3. Cannot think of anything 'close' to Dayton, in Clinton County. Have not run across it at all. When I first took over the Clinton County Genealogy Webpage, I had two irate emails asking me to put PA after Clinton Co., as the researchers were one from Cl Co Ill, or Iowa, and the other from Cl Co Ohio. So I knew there were others out there. If anyone has heard of a place called Dayton, In Clinton County, please let us know.
