I have found that the staff at the Progress to be very helpful with obits. Several times a year I visit their office and they have assisted me in searching for obits. They have old issues of the paper on microfilm. The only drawback is that they have a microfilm reader only, it does not print, so all the obits I find I have to copy the information by hand. Maureen
