What year was Ramey Boro created?  Perhaps it wasn't in existance at the time you are searching for it. Perhaps it would help if you would search the Twp. What is the earliest year you can find the family on a census?  Look for the neighboring people. Check their names out of the next earliest census.  The name you are looking for may be spelt a little differently on the census. Remember the census taker would spell the name the way he would have heard it pronounced.
