If you will go to Yahoo maps and search on N. Second Street, Clearfield, PA you will see Route 322 going through the north of downtown Clearfield. Just before it goes across the river you will see a triangle where N. Second St., and N. Front St., meet at 322. That triangle is where the jail was located for years. Definitely through the 1930 to 1960 that I am familiar with. It is a very impressive stone building. When they finally built a new jail on out of town, the jail was occupied by various businesses. One of them was a medical supply company.
