>From time to time I post some of my Lawhead research. Annie Sutter married Roy Stone Lawhead and they lived in Lawrence Township, Clearfield County and below is some of the Sutter info. Elias Henry Sutter was born Dec 1853 in Covode, North Mahoning Township, Indiana County, PA to Philip Sutter and Elizabeth. The mothers maiden name is unknown. Elias married Sara Jane Sunderlin, born Feb 1855 in probably the same area. Their children were: 1. Leonard T. born 7 July 1875 in Jefferson County, PA and he married an Agnes Jane about 1897. He and his father lived two houses apart in the 1900 census. 2. Annie Sutter 6 Jan 1876 to 2 Aug 1915. Born in Winslow Township, Jefferson County, PA. She married Roy Stone Lawhead 1868-1957. They lived in Hyde, PA and both are buried in the Centre ME Church Cemetery at Hyde. 3. Edward Sutter born June 1881 in Jefferson County, PA. 4. Harvey Sutter born Aug 1883 in Jefferson County, PA. 5. Wilmer Ralph Sutter born 3 Nov 1891 in Westmoreland or Jefferson County, PA. (The Ralph name was carried to many Annie & Roy Lawhead decendents) In 1900 Sarah had had seven children and five are living. Elias's parents were born in Germany. Living with Elias and Sarah in the 1920 census is a five year old grandaughter named Ballo M. Lawhead - could this be the Annie Lawhead born in 1915 when her mother Annie Sutter Lawhead died? They are living in Seward Borough on Indiana Street in Westmoreland County, PA.
