I am trying to sort out the many Joseph's in my database but am terribly confused. Here's my dilemma. I have three Joseph Showers Bloom; two have birthdates of 11 Dec 1855 but with different wives and the 3rd has a birthdate of 11 Jul 1856. Additionally, I have a Joseph son of George Apgar Bloom and Mahilda Bloom, born about 1857 but I have no wife for him. Then I have Joseph C. Bloom b. 1872, son of Hezekiah T. and Mary E. (last name unknown) Bloom, also with no wife. And again, I have a Joseph G. Bloom b. 4/1883, son of Harvey and Fanny (last name unknown) with no wife. Now, why am I going on about these Josephs? Well, I was doing some census work trying to sort out the two Joseph Showers Bloom, whose wives are Elizabeth McHenry and Sarah Jennie Bloom and I ran across a Joseph Bloom, b. abt 1855 who died in Feb 1880 by being struck by a log in Jordan, Clearfield, PA. Lastly, in the "Marriage Records of Clearfield County, PA, Prior to Oct 1 1885" there is listed a Showers Bloom who married Elizabeth McKendrick on 9/7/1879 and I am wondering if this a totally different Showers or a Joseph Showers with another wife. Here's my dilemma. I have three Joseph Showers Bloom; two have birthdates of 11 Dec 1855 but with different wives and the 3rd has a birthdate of 11 Jul 1856. Additionally, I have a Joseph son of George Apgar Bloom and Mahilda Bloom, born about 1857 but I have no wife for him. Then I have Joseph C. Bloom b. 1872, son of Hezekiah T. and Mary E. (last name unknown) Bloom, also with no wife. And again, I have a Joseph G. Bloom b. 4/1883, son of Harvey and Fanny (last name unknown) with no wife. Now, why am I going on about these Josephs? Well, I was doing some census work trying to sort out the two Joseph Showers Bloom, whose wives are Elizabeth McHenry and Sarah Jennie Bloom and I ran across a Joseph Bloom, b. abt 1855 who died in Feb 1880 by being struck by a log in Jordan, Clearfield, PA. Lastly, in the "Marriage Records of Clearfield County, PA, Prior to Oct 1 1885" there is listed a Showers Bloom who married Elizabeth McKendrick on 9/7/1879 and I am wondering if this a totally different Showers or a Joseph Showers with another wife. Help with this problem will be gladly accepted and appreciated.
