    2. I'm looking for some help to find an obituary or newspaper article on the death of Benjamin F. Diehl. He was killed by a train in or near Curry Run on 11 Nov 1912. He was 80 years old and some sort of mail carrier at the time. Thank you. Rick Stuby

    3. INDIANA WEEKLY MESSENGER, Indiana, PA Wednesday, November 20, 1912 Pg. 8 Killed on the Railroad. Benjamin Diehl, an aged resident of Curry Run, was killed by a freight train on Monday afternoon of last week while crossing the tracks. Mr. Diehl carried the mail to and from the trains at that place and it was while he was engaged in his daily duties that he met his death. It is supposed that the train was slowly approaching the unfortunate man and he being slightly hard of hearing was unable to detect the danger in which he was. Mrs. W. E. Tate of Clymer, is a daughter of the deceased. Word reached the Tate home shortly after the accident. The remains were interred the following Wednesday. Good luck in your search, ~Pam ----- Original Message ----- From: <commerce3@verizon.net> To: <PACLEARF@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, November 22, 2006 9:07 AM Subject: [PACLEARF] Nov 1912 Ben.
