List: In 1917, Steve Rekoski registered with the officials for the WW I Draft at Falls Creek, PA. His draft card indicates that he was a laborer at the Elk Tanning Co. in Falls Creek and that he immigrated from Makow, Russia. He was 22 years of age and single, as well as an Alien. This Steve may the the Stephan Rekoszy who witnessed the marriage of Damaszy Rekoszy two years earlier at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Philly. He may also be the Antonio Rekus who arrived at the Port of Philadelphia on December 17, 1912, headed for his brother Damszy's in Philly. We are looking for any corroborating info based on Clearfield County to the above facts. Are City Directories available for the period 1912-1920? Do they reflect the presence of Steve in any of these years? Are the records for the local Catholic Church available, and if so, is there a record of Steve worshiping there? Any other info? TIA!
