Hello List members Good Morning all If you like a great mystery and what genealogist doesn't ( smile ) then I have a mystery for you and I sure can use help with this one I am interested in a mining accident that took place in or about the Ramey, Clearfield Co PA area, about 1912-1925 that took the life of a young man by the last name of PYER. William / Wilhelm Pyer also known as GUMMIE. He was about 17-18 years of age. The family story handed on down said there may have been a fire in the mine. No one recalls for sure that this was why young Mr. PYER passed away, only that he did die in a mining accident. Will appreciate any and all help in solving this mystery. Have a great day everyone Sue
