I went to NewspaperArchive.com and came up with nothing, searching all Pennsylvania newspapers (including Clearfield), all years, using search terms "Jimmy Mines ", "Jimmie Mines", and both again using Mine instead of Mines. If there was such a coal company by that name, or a Houtzdale neighborhood known as Jimmie Mines, it's odd that I couldn't find a single mention of it. NewspaperArchive doesn't have all papers for all dates but its collection is vast. Names of coal companies and local communities usually warrant frequent mentions. Could Jimmy Mines have been a nickname? Perhaps you can identify what coal companies were operating in Houtzdale in those years and try to find out if an owner or manager was named Jimmy. The "old miner" site mentioned previously on this list is a good source - you might even email the webmaster, since he has a keen interest in mining history. Good luck.
