    3. Mike Go to www.health.state.pa.us/vitalrecords. This is where the records are for Clearfield. Follow the directions. If you are in the Military or a Vet you can get family records free. I am not sure about parents. Otherwise the cost is 9 and 10 dollars. I do have the 1930, 1920 and 1910 census, but cannot find anything for 1900. I have his death certificate. I have written to both Clearfield and Centre county looking for his marriage certificate and they can find no record. I tried writing to the PA State Archives to get a birth cert for Rose (daughter). I thought that since she was the first born, perhaps they were living in a different county back then, and her birth certificate may give me that. But, the State Archives will not send it to me. They require two forms of ID, and since I am military, my drivers license address and mailing/check address do not match. > > I have an ancestry.com account, but the local paper available online (Clearfield Progress) does not cover the year he died (for an obit) and I couldn’t find any other references to him in the paper. > > If anyone has any ideas on additional steps I could take, I would really appreciate it.> > Thanks!> Sara> > _________________________________________________________________> Peek-a-boo FREE Tricks & Treats for You!> http://www.reallivemoms.com?ocid=TXT_TAGHM&loc=us> > -------------------------------> To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PACLEARF-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message _________________________________________________________________ Boo! Scare away worms, viruses and so much more!
